EMPIRE RENTALS - High quality rental housing for USAF personnel around Mildenhall and Lakenheath.

Welcome to the EMPIRE RENTALS website. We are a property rental agent, and we operate in the area which is approximately within 20 minutes drive of Mildenhall and Lakenheath, specialising in high quality rental housing for USAF personnel. If that's what you're after, you've come to the right place. We make no application or administration fees to any of our prospective tenants, so our service to you is totally free. Also, if you don't have any transport, we will provide it for free, with no obligation.
Here's our quick guide on how to rent a property from us:

  1. You take a look at what Properties we currently have available, and pick out any that you would like to see. Our website is updated on a daily basis. You can also search in Map View, which is great if you don't know the area - give it a try!
  2. You Contact Us. The best way to do this is to give us a call on 01638 562972, drop us an e-mail or complete the form with your details. If you're not in the UK yet that's no problem, just let us know your requirements and we'll look out for anything upcoming that may be suitable.
  3. We can then arrange for you to view your chosen properties. Unlike some other agents, we personally meet you at all viewings, whether the landlord is also there or not, and are able to answer any questions you may have. Viewings can be arranged at almost any time to suit you, days, evenings or weekends. Viewings can be done one of three ways:

    1. If you have your own transport you can meet us at the properties.
    2. If you have your own transport but don't know the area, you can follow us from any of the base gates.
    3. If you do not have your own transport we can pick you up from one of the base gates, take you round and drop you back off, free of charge, with no obligation.
  4. Decide if you would like any of the properties that you have seen. If you decide to take a property, we then take a few general details from you, and draw up the tenancy agreements. If you want to go away and have a think, or return anywhere for a second viewing, you're more than welcome to.
  5. We then meet to sign the tenancy agreements, either at your chosen property or at one of the base gates. We will meet with you and explain the tenancy agreement. The tenancy agreements that we use our the standard Housing Office ones, so you can be confident that there will be no nasty surprises. Also, all agreements contain the 'military break clause'.
  6. Finally, we meet to check you into your property a few days later. This is when we will require the deposit and first month's rent. We will give you all the information you require regarding the property. This includes the landlords contact details, a standing order mandate to enable future rent payments, some general information about tenancies in this area, some literature from the local council, and anything else that you may require. We will transfer the utility accounts into your name for you, and give you a completed FMO form for loaner furniture should you require it.
And that's it - you're now in your new home!
